Suspect Vehicle Identified In Sunday Morning Shooting
Hamilton Police are appealing for witnesses following a shooting incident that occurred on Sunday, October 15, 2023, in the vicinity of King William Street and John Street North.
At approximately 1:45 a.m. on Sunday, Hamilton Police responded to reports of a shooting in the area, where they discovered two 24-year-old males with gunshot wounds. Both males are currently in stable condition.
We urge the public to come forward with any information they may have regarding the suspect vehicle involved in this incident. The vehicle is believed to be a newer model brown Mercedes-Benz. If you have any knowledge of this vehicle or possess information related to a similar description, please contact the police.
Furthermore, we continue to seek witnesses who were present at the scene during the shooting, to come forward.
To aid in this investigation, we request that residents, businesses, or anyone who was driving in the area between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. on Sunday review their security surveillance cameras or dash camera footage.
