UPDATE: Charge Laid Against GO Bus Driver
Hamilton Police have a charged a GO Bus driver after a pedestrian was struck.
On March 9, 2019, shortly after 2:05 p.m., the Hamilton Police Service responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a GO bus and a pedestrian at the Hamilton GO Centre located at 36 Hunter Street East, Hamilton.
A GO Bus parked at the bus terminal began reversing from the parking location resulting in a collision occurring between the bus and an 84-year-old woman from Brantford. The pedestrian succumbed to their injuries. The Hamilton Collision Reconstruction Unit attended the location and continued with the investigation.
As a result of the investigation, the GO Bus Driver has been charged. He will appear in court on Wednesday, April 10, 2019.
