UPDATE: HAMILTON POLICE ENCOURAGING WITNESSES TO COME FORWARD
Hamilton Police continue to investigate a fatal shooting that occurred in the area of Nebo Road and Hempstead Drive, claiming the life of 33-year-old Spencer Laffin.
On Monday, December 11, 2023, shortly after 5:00 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to reports of shots fired outside Satellite Tires at 100 Nebo Road. Spencer Laffin was at his workplace when the shooting occurred. He managed to flee to a neighbouring property where he was shot several more times and succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators are seeking a dark coloured 4-door SUV, believed to be a newer model Honda CRV in connection with the shooting. The shooter is described as a male, black, approximately 6 feet tall, with a thin build. He was observed to be wearing dark clothing and a surgical mask.
Investigators believe there are individuals who have knowledge of the homicide and are appealing for them to come forward.
