UPDATE: Hamilton Police Searching for Second Vehicle in Fatal Collision
The HPS Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) continues to investigate the fatal motor vehicle collision that claimed the life of a 23-year-old male.
On Saturday August 26th, 2023, shortly before 9:00 AM a black BMW motor vehicle being operated by a 23 year-old-male was westbound on the Lincoln Alexander Pkwy near Upper James. The BMW lost control, crossed the centre median and struck a eastbound Ford motor vehicle being operated by a 72 year-old-female.
The 23 year-old-male suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced at the scene. The 72 year-old-female was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators are now looking for a dark coloured Infinity motor vehicle that was travelling westbound on the Lincoln Alexander Pkwy at the time of the collision. The Infinity is believed to have played a significant part in this fatality and the driver and/or owner is asked to come forward.
