Vehicle Jacking on the East Hamilton Mountain

Hamilton Police Service is seeking public assistance in locating a stolen vehicle and suspects involved in an overnight vehicle jacking.

On October 18, 2017, shortly before 12:00 midnight, a Cambridge resident attended the Husky gas bar located at 221 Limeridge Road East. While the victim was pumping air into his tires a dark coloured Hyundai Santa Fe SUV pulled up. Three male suspects described as black in their early to mid-20’s, wearing zip up hoodies and face coverings exited their vehicle, while the driver remained inside. One of the suspects was holding a gun and demanded the keys from the victim. The victim provided his keys without any altercation occurring.

The suspects took the victims vehicle and were last seen driving southbound on Upper Wellington followed by the suspect’s vehicle.
