Hamilton Police are investigating a break and enter at a residence on East 8th Street in Hamilton.

On Friday, June 19, 2026, at approximately 6:30 a.m., police responded to reports of a break and enter in progress. Officers spoke with the occupants of the home and learned that, around 6:00 a.m., three masked male suspects arrived at the residence.

Two of the suspects forced entry through the front door, where a struggle occurred with the homeowner. The suspects then stole a safe and other valuables from inside the residence. The suspects were last seen leaving through the front door and getting into a black SUV, which was driven by the third suspect.

All three suspects are described as Black males with thin builds. They were wearing all black clothing, masks and gloves.
