Hamilton Police Seek Assistance in Identifying Break and Enter Suspect

Hamilton Police continue to investigate an overnight break and enter to the Westdale Jewellers that occurred back on December 7, 2018. With the assistance of the public, Hamilton Police hope to identify the suspect.

On Friday, December 7, 2018, shortly before 5:00 a.m., Hamilton Police responded to a report of a break and enter in progress at Westdale Jewellers, located at 2 Newton Avenue, Hamilton. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival.

Through investigation, police learned the suspect attended the business and attempted to gain entry by kicking out a window. The suspect was scared off by staff who were already on scene.

Suspect Description

  • Male white,
  • medium build,
  • 6'0 tall

Clothing

  • Black shoes
  • Light coloured pants
  • Jacket with "BUD" on the back, possible Budweiser beer jacket
  • Backpack worn on the front of his body
  • Mask covering his face.
