Male Charged For Sexual Assault

Recently, Hamilton Police entered into an investigation after a young person reported an incident of sexual assault. The suspect placed an advertisement on Kijiji offering tutoring services and was hired by the young person’s family. The suspect sexually assaulted the young person.

On Thursday, November 23, 2023, 34-year-old Daniel Picone of Hamilton was arrested and charged with the following offences:

·         Sexual Assault

·         Sexual Interference

Daniel Picone will appear in court on Thursday, December 21, 2023.

Confirmed reports indicate that Daniel Picone is a post-secondary educator spanning several years. Investigators suspect the possibility of additional victims and urge anyone possessing relevant information to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
