Hamilton Police is investigating three suspicious tow truck fires while sitting unattended in parking lots. The Arson Unit continues to investigate and ask if anyone has information please call our Arson Unit at (905)540-3819.

On December 17, 2019, shortly after 2:30 a.m., police assisted Hamilton Fire with a fully engulfed tow truck sitting in a back parking lot on Cochrane Road in Hamilton. Approximately 30 minutes later another tow truck was reported on fire in the parking lot of 1300 Garth Street. Finally, a third tow truck was set on fire at 3:30 a.m. on Ferguson Avenue South.

All three trucks received unrepairable damage. The registered owners of the trucks were all from different companies.
