Hamilton Police Investigating Sexual Assault

Hamilton Police Service is looking for witnesses to a sexual assault in the Hamilton Mountain area.

On Thursday, November 9, 2018 around 9:15 p.m., an adult female was riding her bicycle east on Limeridge Rd E near Leggett Crescent in Hamilton when a male suspect stopped her and engaged her in conversation. During the conversation, the suspect grabbed her cell phone. The male then persuaded the female to follow him towards a grassy area on Leggett Crescent and sexually assaulted her. The male was last seen leaving west on Limeridge Road East heading towards Upper Sherman Avenue.

The suspect is described as follows:

Male, black, 6’0, thin to medium build, wearing a dark hoodie, no coat, black hair that was curly in the front that came down to his eyebrows. His hair was covered with his hoodie, but when removed the hair fell forward to his eyebrows.
