Police Looking to Arrest Keith Street Shooter

Hamilton Police are looking for an individual involved in a shooting incident at a residential home on Keith Street in Hamilton. A warrant for his arrest has been obtained.

On February 25, 2020, shortly after 9:30 a.m., a male and female sleeping inside their Keith Street residence awoke to someone knocking at their front door. A male entered the home and engaged in an argument with the male resident which led to him being shot in the leg. The suspect left the area in a vehicle. This is considered to be a targeted incident.

The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police have identified the outstanding suspect as Marlin Wilson of Stoney Creek. The firearm has not been located and he is considered to be armed and dangerous. Wilson is known to move in and out of neighbouring GTA communities with ties to Toronto.

  • Careless Use/Transport of Firearm
  • Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
  • Point Firearm X 2
  • Possession Contrary to Order X 3
  • Aggravated Assault
  • Robbery with Firearm
  • Utter Threats to Cause Death
  • Mischief Under $5000
