Hamilton Police have arrested and charged another individual for assault after the altercation at the Hamilton Pride Festival on June 15, 2019.

A 33-year-old male is facing a level one assault charge after a victim came forward to report the incident. The individual will appear in court on July 29, 2019.

This marks the fifth individual charged after the altercation in Gage Park.

Hamilton Police continue to investigate the events at Hamilton’s Pride celebrations. Victims and witnesses are encouraged to come forward to further the investigation, with the possibility of laying additional charges. We thank those individuals who have come forward to share information with police.
