Hamilton Man Wanted for Series of Commercial Entries

The Hamilton Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a Hamilton man who is believed to be responsible for committing several commercial entries in early February.

Through continued investigation, detectives from the BEAR Unit have identified Matthew CAMPBELL-LEWIS, 31-years-of-age as the suspect in a series of commercial entries. The incidents occurred between February 4th and February 6th this year, where over $5000 in property was stolen from secured compounds. Detectives have also identified a stolen vehicle used during the incidents, it has since been recovered.

Police believe CAMPBELL-LEWIS is aware there is a warrant for his arrest and he is currently evading apprehension.

CAMPBELL-LEWIS is described as male, white, approximately 6’0 tall, 187 lbs. He has several tattoos including the word ‘Irish’ and a four-leaf clover on the right side of his neck along with the word ‘Cancer’ and the number ‘69’ on the left side of his neck.
