Hamilton Police Execute Search Warrant in Relation to Ancaster Church Break and Enter

On Wednesday, June 6, 2018, just shortly after 6:00 p.m., members of the Hamilton Police Service Division Three HEAT Unit executed two Criminal Code search warrants at an Ancaster residence.

Over the past few months, the Meadowlands Fellowship Church on Stonehenge Drive in Ancaster was victimized with several broken windows and doors. On two occasions the church was broken into, damaged on the inside and items were stolen.

Members of Division three HEAT Unit investigated the mischiefs and break and enter occurrences. They were able to identify a suspect and executed warrants on a home and vehicle believed to be involved.

Hamilton Police have seized items involved in the crimes and arrested a male from the Ancaster area. He has been charged with Mischief under $5000 X3 and Break and Enter X2. He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, June 7, 2018, to answer to the charges.

Due to the fact the accused is a young offender his identity is not being released.
