Hamilton Police are looking for the public’s assistance in locating Raymond Mitchell who escaped from custody from the St. Joseph’s Forensic Psychiatry Unit.

On September 14, 2021, Hamilton Police received a report of a male who did not return to the facility after utilizing St. Joseph’s ground privileges.

Raymond Mitchell is a 31-year-old male, approximately 5’8”, with a heavy build. He is nearly 200lbs, with short brown hair and a moustache. Last seen wearing a black jacket, navy sweat shirt, dark blue camouflage shorts and blue shoes.

Raymond has ties to Toronto and Peterborough.

Raymond has violent tendencies. If you see him, please call 911 immediately and do not approach or attempt to communicate with him. If you have any non-emergent information that you believe could assist Police, you are asked to contact the on-duty Division 30 Staff Sergeant at 905-546-3886.
