Hamilton Police have responded to a residence in the area of North Service Road and Fruitland Road, Stoney Creek, after receiving information a worker had been injured from a fall.

On Thursday, October 18, 2018, shortly before 3:00 p.m., Hamilton Police received information a 70- year-old male was injured while working inside a residence, in the area of North Service Road and Fruitland Road, Stoney Creek. Preliminary information suggests the male had a fall.

The male was transported to hospital with an upper-body injury.

The Ministry of Labour has been contacted and is expected to attend.

Hamilton Police are not investigating the matter further.
