Motor Vehicle Collision on Lincoln Alexander Parkway

Hamilton Police continue to investigate a motor vehicle collision, which closed the Lincoln Alexander Parkway westbound for a period of time yesterday.

On Tuesday, May 23, 2023, shortly before 8:30 a.m., a Honda motorcycle travelling westbound on the Lincoln Alexander Parkway collided with the rear of a Hyundai SUV, causing the rider to be ejected.

The 60-year-old driver of the Honda motorcycle was transported to hospital and remains in stable condition with life-altering injuries. The driver of the Hyundai SUV was also transported to hospital and remains in stable condition.

Hamilton Police would like to thank those community members who stopped to provide aid to the injured drivers. Their impact was significant. Hamilton Police would also like to thank those members of the public for their patience as they may who may have experienced traffic delays within our city while the investigation took place.
