Police Investigate Downtown Shooting

Hamilton Police are investigating a shooting that took place around 2:30am this morning and are asking for the assistance of the public.  

On Sunday, February 25th 2024 shortly after 2:30 am, officers were called to the area of 33 Bowen Street at the 33 Bowen Restobar for a possible shooting.  On arrival, police located a male victim inside of the establishment that had sustained a gunshot wound.  The victim was taken to hospital where he is currently being treated for his injuries.  The shooting is believed to be targeted, and there is no outstanding risk to the public.
