Hamilton Police continue to investigate a shooting incident in the area of King Street East and Cochrane Road. Police remain on scene collecting evidence and canvassing the neighbourhood.

On Tuesday, December 31, 2019, shortly after midnight, Hamilton Police received information about possible shots fired in the area of King Street East and Cochran Road. Once on scene, police recovered evidence to support a shooting incident had occurred.

No injuries have been reported to the police.

Hamilton Police will be in the area collecting evidence and canvassing the neighbourhood. Citizens in the area are asked to check their security cameras for any suspicious activity and contact police.

This is the 47^th shooting incident for the year.
