Police Seek the Public’s Assistance in Locating Hospital Patient

Hamilton Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Ben Vandenbroek.

On Tuesday, July 30, 2019, shortly before 4:30 a.m. Vandenbroek was apprehended after concern for his well-being was raised in relation to an incident involving a crane. He was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital located at 50 Charlton Avenue East and admitted into care. A short time after police left, Vandenbroek departed the hospital without permission.

Vandenbroek is described as male, Caucasian, 24-years-of-age, 6’3”, 160 lbs with light brown hair above the ears. He was last seen wearing blue boxer shorts.

Hamilton Police are concerned for Vandenbroek’s well-being and ask anyone who sees him to call 9-1-1 immediately.
