Prowl by Night in Westdale Area

Hamilton Police continue to remind the public to be vigilant about locking doors and securing windows after a male was caught looking through a window late in the evening. 

On September 4, 2018, shortly after 11:00 p.m., police responded to the area of Hadden Avenue North, Hamilton. A female living in the residence noticed a male standing outside the home. The male fled on foot after the female caught him looking through the window. 

Police set up a perimeter and thoroughly checked the area with negative results.

The male appeared to be of university age (early 20’s), white, blonde hair covering his forehead and wearing a black baseball hat.

Residents are encouraged to report any suspicious activity in the area to Hamilton Police at 905-546-4861, McMaster Security Dispatch at 905-525-9140 ext.24281 or 911 for a crime in progress. Doors and windows that are easily accessible should be locked and secured.

The incident comes after several break and enters in the Westdale area. At this time it is too early to link all the cases and Hamilton Police continue to investigate.
