Hamilton Police are appealing for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect believed to be responsible for a series of commercial robberies in Hamilton.

The Hamilton Police Break, Enter, Auto Theft and Robbery (BEAR) Unit is investigating four robberies that occurred between September 6 and September 25, 2026.

Three of the robberies occurred at businesses in the Barton Street East and Kenilworth Avenue North area, with an additional robbery occurring at a business on Upper Ottawa Street on the Hamilton Mountain.

The robberies occurred on:

• September 6, 2026, at approximately 8:15 p.m.
• September 17, 2026, at approximately 11:25 p.m.
• September 18, 2026, at approximately 2:40 p.m.
• September 25, 2026, at approximately 8:05 p.m.

Through continued investigation, police believe the same suspect is responsible for the robberies.

During the incidents, the suspect entered the businesses and demanded money from staff. In at least one incident, the suspect threatened staff with what was believed to be a firearm. The suspect fled on foot before police arrived.

The suspect is described as:

• Male
• Black baseball hat
• Dark-coloured hoodie
• Grey pants with a black stripe near the pockets
• Black shoes with white soles

Investigators are releasing images of the suspect and are asking anyone who recognizes him or has information that could assist with the investigation to contact police.
