Sexual Assault Occurred in the Area of King West & Sterling

Hamilton Police are investigating a sexual assault that occurred in the area of King Street West and Sterling Street.

On August 3, 2018, at approximately 5:45 a.m., a 21-year-old female awoke to an unknown person in her room. The suspect gained entry through a second story window where the suspect proceeded to sexually assault the victim. The suspect fled when the victim screamed for assistance.

The victim could not obtain much of a description of the suspect and only recalled seeing the person wearing a dark or black hoodie over their head.
