Surveillance Captures Male Setting Car on Fire

Hamilton Police would like to identify the male involved in torching a truck while parked overnight in a residential driveway.

On June 12, 2020, police assisted the Hamilton Fire Department with a car fire on Mount Pleasant Drive in Hamilton.

The homeowner awoke shortly after 4:30 a.m., to find his 2017 GMC Sierra truck on fire in his driveway.

Cameras in the area captured a male suspect stop for a few minutes by the parked truck and then walk away as the vehicle ignited in flames. The truck sustained significant damage.

The Hamilton Police Arson Unit is asking the community to call if they know the male in the video.

Suspect Description:

  • Male, white
  • Flannel shirt and dark pants
