Suspect in York Boulevard Homicide Wanted

Hamilton Police have identified the person wanted for the homicide outside Boulevard Billards on October 19, 2019. Police are asking that he turn himself in.

Investigators from the Major Crime, Forensic Services, Video Analysis and Mobile Surveillance Units worked throughout the weekend on the city’s 10th Homicide of 2019. As a result, they have identified 26-year-old Ibrahim ISSAK-HUSSEN as the male who shot and killed 29-year-old Obsa JUNEDI-MOHAMED outside Boulevard Billiard’s shortly before 1.30 a.m., on Saturday morning.

An arrest warrant for First Degree Murder has been obtained for ISSAK-HUSSEN. He is encouraged to contact a lawyer and turn himself into police. ISSAK- HUSSEN is from Hamilton and goes by the street name of ‘Seemo’. He should be considered armed and dangerous. If members of the public observe him please do not approach and call police immediately.

As a result of images released by media, yesterday police obtained information identifying both ISSAK-HUSSEN, and the driver of the white, four-door sedan.

The driver of the car turned himself in at Central Police Station shortly before 1 p.m., on Sunday, with his lawyer. He was arrested for First Degree Murder and Accessory After the Fact to Murder. This individual participated in a lengthy interview and was released unconditionally at the conclusion.

Police are still looking to speak to the second passenger who left the scene in the white sedan. He is an Asian male wearing a dark winter coat with fur trim on the hood. He is encouraged to contact police to arrange an interview.
