On Monday February 22, 2021, Hamilton Police investigated an incident in the area of Gage Avenue South and Cumberland Avenue. As a result of a disturbance, two females were transported to hospital with significant injuries.

While the investigation is ongoing, the investigators are not seeking outstanding suspects in this matter. No criminal charges have been laid and both individuals involved remain in hospital. Their status can now be qualified as “critical condition” and “stable” respectively.
