UPDATE: East Hamilton Prowler Arrested

A Hamilton man is charged with prowling offences relating back to an incident from October 28, 2018. He appeared at the John Sopinka Courthouse for a bail hearing on February 5, 2019.

On October 28, 2018, police received a call shortly after 11:30 p.m., when a Good Samaritan went outside and confronted a male suspect looking into his female neighbour’s bedroom window on East 35th Street, Hamilton. The suspect sustained a cut during a struggle with the Good Samaritan, who was attempting to restrain him for police. The suspect was able to break free and fled the scene.

Police continued their investigation and linked a 32-year-old male to the incident. On February 4, 2019, shortly after 4:00 p.m. police arrested the male as he exited his vehicle in the area of King Street East and Cochrane Road in Hamilton.

Charged: Daniel Severin (32-years-old) Hamilton resident

Charges:

  • Trespass / Prowl near dwelling house
  • Criminal Harassment
  • Assault Level 1
