UPDATE: Hamilton Police Release Name of Shooting Victim
With the permission of the family, Hamilton Police confirm 36-year-old Tito Kelly from Hamilton is the victim of the city’s most recent homicide.
The family have requested privacy while they grieve their loss.
Hamilton Police continue to investigate the shooting that took Tito’s life as investigation has revealed a small royal blue four door sedan with dark tint fled the scene westbound on Markland Street at a high rate of speed.
Police are appealing to home owners and motorists in the area to check their cameras between the hours of 10:50 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. for images of the vehicle.
Police can confirm a loaded firearm was located at the scene.
