Drug Dealer Caught Again

A Hamilton woman recently arrested for drug offences failed to attend court to answer to her charges. Her arresting officer was aware of the violations and observed her on the street. He placed her under arrest and during a search of her property he found her to be in possession of illicit drugs for the purpose of trafficking. The female has been held for a bail hearing.

On Thursday, June 6, 2019, shortly before 8:30 a.m., a Hamilton Police officer spotted a party near the intersection of Barton Street East and Fullerton Avenue. He had recently arrested her in relation to drug possession offences. He was aware the female had not attended her fingerprint appointment and court date on May 29 and June 5. Due to the short timeline, a warrant of arrest had yet to be sworn. She was arrested on reasonable grounds a warrant would be issued. When searched by the officer she was found to be in possession of illicit drugs, drug paraphernalia and an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency.

The female was taken into police custody and is scheduled to appear in court today to answer to several criminal charges.
