Hamilton Police are investigating the City’s second homicide after an adult male was found deceased in the City’s East End.

On Monday, July 11, 2022, Hamilton Police received information regarding a suspicious death. After further investigation, the body of a male was located in a tent near the rail tracks in the area of Lottridge Street and Landsdowne Avenue.

Investigators are still working to identify the victim and notify next of kin.

The Hamilton Police Homicide Unit is investigating. A 32-year-old male is currently in custody in relation to this incident. At this time, there is no indication there are any outstanding suspects.
