Hamilton Police Service (HPS) is once again inviting the community to help local students start the school year with confidence by supporting the annual Fill the Pack Back-to-School Backpack & School Supply Drive.

From now until August 23, community members are encouraged to donate new backpacks and new school supplies to help ensure children across Hamilton have the tools they need to succeed in the classroom.

Last year, the generosity of Hamilton residents, businesses and community partners helped provide 600 backpacks filled with school supplies to local students. This year, HPS is partnering with community agencies to help identify families in need and ensure donations reach children who will benefit most.

Donation Items Needed

Hamilton Police Service is accepting donations of new:

• Backpacks
• Notebooks
• Pens and pencils
• Markers
• Binders
• Erasers
• Calculators
• Other basic school supplies

Drop-Off Locations

Donations will be accepted until August 23 at:

• Division One – 155 King William Street
• Division Two – 2825 King Street East
• Division Three – 400 Rymal Road East
• Jackson Square Substation - 2 King Street West
• KX947 – 589 Upper Wellington Street
