Man Suffers Life-threatening Injuries in ATV Accident

Hamilton Police Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate an ATV collision that sent a man to the hospital in critical condition.

On Saturday, December 23, 2019, shortly 12:38 a.m., a 38 year-old-man from Flamborough was riding his ATV eastbound on Mountsberg Road between Highway 6 and Centre Road in Flamborough. The rider lost control of the vehicle causing it to roll onto its side. As a result of the rider not wearing a helmet, he suffered life-threatening injuries to his head after falling to the roadway. Emergency Service Responders attended the scene and transported the driver to the hospital.

There is no further information at this time, alcohol and speed may have been a factor, the investigation is continuing.
