Pellet Gun Discharged in Road Rage Incident

The Hamilton Police Service is investigating after pellet gun discharged during road rage incident.

On Sunday February 9th 2020 just shortly after 8:25 pm, Hamilton Police responded to a shooting to the area of  Upper James Street and Fennell Avenue.

Investigation revealed that as the result of a road rage incident two suspects had discharged what was believed to be a pellet gun at another vehicle.  The suspects fled in a gray Audi sedan.  No plate was obtained.

Responding officers located the suspect vehicle in the area of Upper Gage and Mohawk Road.  Two suspects fled the vehicle on foot.  Officers, along with a K-9 unit flooded the area and after a short period of time located one of the two suspects..  The second suspect remains outstanding.

Officers recovered the pellet gun believed to be used in this incident.

A 20 year old male is currently in custody.  The investigation is ongoing.
