Hamilton Police continue to investigate a shooting incident at an east-end residential complex. One person was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.

On Sunday, December 22, 2019, shortly after 9:30 p.m., Hamilton Police and Hamilton Paramedic Services responded for a report of a shooting in the area of Oriole Crescent and Glengrove Avenue. Once on scene, a 22-year-old injured Hamilton man was located. He was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

At this time police believe this was a targeted incident and asking local residents to check their security cameras for any suspicious activity.

Through investigation, a person of interest and vehicle has been established.

INDIVIDUAL

• Male
• 5'5" with a slim build
• Dark jacket with fur around the hood

VEHICLE

• Dark coloured four-door sedan

This is the 46th shooting incident for the year.
