UPDATE: Hamilton's Second Homicide in 2019

Hamilton Police Service is releasing the name of the 17-year-old victim found in a crashed car in rural Dundas. 

On Monday, April 15, 2019, at approximately 7:35 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to reports of a single motor vehicle collision in the area of Patterson Rd and Wesley Rd in Dundas. A single motor vehicle had been reported to have left the roadway and landed in the forested area. Hamilton Police patrol units quickly responded and located Abdalla Hassan deceased in the vehicle. Hamillton EMS and Fire responded to the scene to attempt life saving measures; however, Abdalla was pronounced deceased on scene.

Abdalla's family has requested privacy as they grieve the loss of their son. 

The cause of death is still under investigation at this time and is not expected to be released until tomorrow.
