The third outstanding suspect in the Carel Douse homicide has been arrested.

Alieu Jeng was arrested by Toronto Police just before 9:00 pm on Friday, July 26, 2019, he has been transported back to Hamilton and will appear before the court on Saturday, July 27, 2019.

Shortly, after 3:00 a.m., on Saturday, May 18, 2019, Hamilton Police responded to a residence located on East Avenue North in Hamilton for a stabbing that had just occurred. When police arrived, they found 33-year-old Carel Douse suffering from a number of stab wounds. He was taken to the Hamilton General Hospital and died early that afternoon.
