Hamilton Police have confirmed the identity of the individual found deceased in the water near Harbour Front Drive on April 8, 2026, as Dorota Pruszewski.

Dorota had been reported missing from her Wood Street East home on the morning of January 13, 2026. Hamilton Police, alongside her family and community members, conducted extensive search efforts in the weeks that followed; however, she was not located at that time.

Foul play is not suspected in her death. Hamilton Police extend their sincere thanks to all those who assisted in the search efforts and offer their condolences to Dorota’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.
