On Monday September 2nd, 2024, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to the area of 70 Jerome Crescent after receiving information of an assault that had just occurred.  During the incident, an elderly male was assaulted by an unknown male in the apartment complex’s parking lot. Shortly after the assault, the suspect fled the area on an E-bike.  Fortunately, citizens came to the elderly male’s assistance and provided care until emergency services attended. 

 The suspect is being described as: 

•  White male
•  40-50 years old
• Medium build
• Grey and white, short hair
• Wearing blue jeans, black t-shirt and white running shoes

The victim sustained serious injuries from the assault and Hamilton Police seek the assistance from the community to identify the male for this criminal act.
