On September 21, 2026, at approximately 10:00 pm, Hamilton Paramedics and Police, were called to a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian at 100 King Street West, in the underground parking garage.

A 2017 Acura Integra struck a male pedestrian as the driver was exiting the parking garage.

The male pedestrian was transported to the hospital, with serious life-threatening injuries. 

All investigative avenues are being considered at this time.

Hamilton Police Collision Reconstruction Unit has taken carriage of the investigation. Any potential witnesses to this collision are urged to come forward. Investigators are also requesting any motorists in the area at the time of the collision to check their dash cameras and any residences or businesses in the area with surveillance cameras to review their camera footage.
