Police Investigate Single Vehicle Fatal Collision

On Monday April 15, 2024, shortly after 4:30pm, Hamilton Emergency Services were called to Glen Valley Drive, for a report of an E-bike losing control and ejecting the driver from the bike.  

The driver of the E-bike, a 36-year-old male from Hamilton was transported to hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival. 

The HPS Collision Reconstruction Unit was called in and has taken carriage of the investigation. The affected stretch of Glen Valley Drive was closed for several hours for the investigation but has since re-opened.

At this time, the police are actively seeking any potential witnesses to this incident and urge anyone with information to come forward.  Investigators are also requesting any motorists in the area at the time of the collision to check their dash cameras and any residences or businesses in the area with surveillance cameras to review their camera footage.
