The Hamilton Police Homicide Unit is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a deceased person who was found in the Hamilton Harbour.

On Friday May 29, 2026 at approximately 08:00a.m., Hamilton Police learned of a body in the water near Wilcox Street North. The circumstances have been deemed suspicious, and the Homicide Unit has taken carriage of the investigation.
