On Tuesday, December 26th 2023 shortly after 1:00 pm, Hamilton Police responded to the area of the Jolley Cut for reports of a serious motor vehicle collision.

Police can confirm a collision occurred involving two vehicles and the investigation is ongoing at this time.  The Jolley Cut remains closed in both directions. 

The Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating this incident and will provide further updates as the investigation unfolds. Detectives are also asking for anyone driving in the area at that time with dash cam footage to contact investigators.
