Hamilton Police seeking the Public's assistance

Hamilton Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding a fail to remain that took place on Wednesday March 6th, 2024, and are asking anyone with information to report it to investigators.

On Wednesday, March 6th, 2024 at approximately 11:30pm, a pedestrian had been walking their dog on Jameston Avenue in the city of Hamilton.  A passing motor vehicle struck the pedestrian who was subsequently transported to the hospital as a result of the collision. The dog was uninjured. 

The vehicle was described as a grey hatchback larger than a sedan. 

Police are requesting homeowners in the area check their security cameras around the time of the incident.
