UPDATE: Hamilton Police Searching for Individuals Who Fled Eastport Drive Collision

Hamilton Police continue to investigate a collision on Eastport Drive that left two women seriously injured.

On Monday, December 4, 2023, shortly before 8:00 a.m., a three-vehicle collision occurred on Eastport Drive. The collision involved a 2024 white Volkswagen SUV, a black 2010 Nissan and a 2015 white Honda.

Two people from the Volkswagen fled the scene. A passerby stopped the individuals and asked them if they needed assistance. The individuals jumped in the back seat and told the driver they had a gun and to drive them to the area of Mead and Tait Avenue in Hamilton.

The suspects are described as follows:

Male

  • black male, 20s
  • 6'2" tall - 200lbs
  • black hair in corn rows
  • blue jeans
  • black hooded sweatshirt
  • black satchel across his chest

Female

  • light-skinned black female, 20s
  • 5'5" tall
  • grey sweatpants or leggings
  • black coat
  • make up and fake eye lashes

Two people from the Nissan were transported to hospital with serious life-threatening injuries and the driver of the Honda was transported with serious but non-life threatening injuries.  

Eastport Drive was closed for several hours for the investigation.
