Hamilton Police are investigating a shooting that took place around 7:00am this morning and are asking for the assistance of the public.  

On Saturday February 24, 2024, shortly before 7:00 am, officers were called to the area of 185 King St. E at the California Dream Lounge for a possible shooting.  On arrival, police located a male victim outside of the establishment that had sustained a gunshot wound.  The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  The shooting is believed to be targeted, and there is no outstanding risk to the public.
