Hamilton Police are seeking the public’s assistance in an ongoing shooting investigation that took place in the area of Melvin Avenue and Bernard Street. 

On Friday, September 22, 2023, at approximately 11:40 p.m., Hamilton Police responded after receiving information of a shooting that had just occurred into the door of an apartment. There were no injuries. 

Hamilton Police are asking residences, businesses and vehicles with cameras in the area to review their security surveillance cameras between 11:30 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. for any suspicious activity.
