Hamilton Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in the area of Radison Lane early this morning.

On Sunday, December 3, 2023, shortly before 6:00 a.m., Hamilton Police responded to the area of Radison Lane for possible shots fired.   

Police responded to the area and located one subject, who has been arrested for Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.

This investigation is on-going and the Hamilton Police are asking area residents in the Bingham Road, Radison Lane, Ayr Avenue, Reid Avenue, and Roxanne Drive neighbourhood to stay in their residences, while police continue to search the area for an outstanding suspect.

Furthermore, Hamilton Police are requesting citizens in the area to check their surveillance cameras and vehicle dash camera footage for any suspicious activity between the hours of 5:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, December 3, 2023 and contact investigators should you locate something suitable for review.
