Hamilton Police investigators are appealing for witnesses after a report of gunfire in the area of Upper Ottawa and Fennell Ave. E at approximately 2:20am on October 28, 2023. Police can confirm that a shooting incident occurred. Hamilton Police are asking residents and businesses in the area to review their security surveillance cameras between 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. for any suspicious activity. Detectives are also asking anyone driving in the area at that time with dash camera footage to contact investigators.
